How do I get a quote?
Text photos of your furniture plus approximate dimensions to Kasia at (313) 657-3746. She’ll review them and reply with a free estimate — usually within a few hours. You can also use the contact form or email Info@ultupholstery.com.
How long does reupholstery take?
Most pieces take 3–4 weeks from drop-off to pickup. We’ll give you a timeframe with your estimate.
How much does it cost?
Every piece is different — cost depends on the size of the furniture, the fabric you choose, its condition, and the detail of the work. That’s why we don’t publish fixed prices: a free estimate based on photos of your actual piece is always accurate. In most cases, reupholstering a well-made piece costs less than buying comparable new quality.
Do I need to supply the fabric?
Either way works. Many customers bring their own fabric; if you’d rather not hunt for it, Kasia will help you choose and order the right fabric for your piece.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes — we pick up and deliver within about 40 miles of our Southfield shop. The fee depends on distance; ask when you get your estimate.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
Yes — we’re appointment-only, so call or text first: (313) 657-3746. Hours are Monday–Friday 8–6 and Saturday 8–1; closed Sundays.
Where are you located?
30000 Evergreen Rd, Southfield, MI 48076 — about 45 minutes from anywhere in metro Detroit.
What kinds of furniture do you work on?
Sofas, loveseats, chairs, wingbacks, recliners, chaises, settees, ottomans, dining chairs, barstools, headboards, and pillows — plus outdoor cushions, wood restoration, custom designs, and repairs.
My furniture was my grandmother’s. Is that something you handle?
All the time. Heirloom and sentimental pieces are a big part of our work — we’ll treat yours with the same care.
Do you reupholster outdoor furniture?
Yes — outdoor cushions and seating are part of what we do.
Can you repair furniture without fully reupholstering it?
Yes. We do repairs and wood restoration as well as full reupholstery — send photos and we’ll tell you what makes sense.
